Mustang was longer and wider for 1967 with a new roof, the 2+2 was the height of style for the time. The new mill for 1967 was 335-hp V-8 and a new transmission that permitted drivers to shift automatically or manually. This was an early appearance of cruise control.
Three new models including the Marquis were on the Mercury roster for 67. Raised center on the hood suggested Lincoln styling. Standard on the Montclair (shown) was 290-in 2 barrel V-8 putting out 275hp.
The Falcon Futura sedan (shown) was one of the 10 models available, this included three wagons. Standard on the 66-67 Futura was a 200 Cu in Six. The 170 Six was offered on the other Falcons. For the looking for something more V-8 options were 289 in either two or four barrel carburetors.
